Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how to contact us about it.

Pending review. This document is a working draft prepared during implementation. It must be reviewed and approved by the business owner or an appropriate legal adviser, and the registered entity name confirmed, before public launch.

Who we are

This website is operated by Aqlyst Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”), a limited liability company registered in Tennessee, United States, and trading as Aqlyst Technologies. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Our privacy contact is info@aqlyst.ai. Write to us there about anything in this policy, including to exercise any of the rights set out below.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your work email address
  • Your company or organization
  • The area of interest you select
  • The message you write
  • Your confirmation that you agree to this policy

When you submit the instructor interest form on the Teach with Aqlyst page we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • The city and state or country you are based in, and an optional link to your profile or portfolio
  • The subject area, topics, level and teaching formats you could offer
  • Your professional and teaching experience, the written answers you give about a recent project and about explaining a concept, and any certifications you choose to list
  • The course schedule you propose: its length in hours, the time zone, and the date, start time and length of each session
  • Your confirmation that you agree to this policy

We also record the page you submitted from and, where present in the link you followed, campaign parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content). These help us understand which content leads to inquiries. We do not ask for a phone number, and we do not collect special category data.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used — for example which sections people read and where navigation becomes confusing. Clarity records page interactions and may capture a session replay.

Form fields on this site are marked for masking, so the content you type into the contact form is not captured in Clarity recordings. We never send your name, email address, company or message text to any analytics service.

Microsoft acts as a processor for Clarity data. See Microsoft's privacy statement for how they handle it.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To consider you as an instructor. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you submit the instructor interest form. We use these details for that purpose only.
  • To reply to your inquiry. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.
  • To improve the website. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage, balanced against your privacy through masking and data minimization.
  • To protect the form from abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in preventing automated and malicious submissions.

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, we do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are scheduled for deletion sixty days after we receive them, and we will delete one sooner if you ask. Deletion is automatic rather than a manual routine: each submission is stored with its own expiry date and removed by the database when that date passes.

Instructor interest responses are scheduled for deletion one year after we receive them, and we will delete one sooner if you ask.

Where it is stored

Contact submissions are processed by a serverless function on Google Cloud, in the European Union, and stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Notification email is sent through Resend, a transactional email provider. Access is limited to the people who need it in order to reply.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Microsoft Clarity sets identifiers to distinguish sessions for analytics purposes. Analytics is disabled entirely when no Clarity project is configured for the environment you are visiting.

Owner decision outstanding: whether a consent banner is required for the launch jurisdictions, and the exact consent behavior, must be confirmed before launch.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, and receive a copy in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.

To exercise any of these, email info@aqlyst.ai. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Security

Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and validated on the server before storage. Credentials for storage and email services are held in platform configuration or a secrets vault and are never exposed to the browser. We store the minimum data required to respond to your inquiry.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date shown at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing it when you submit a new inquiry.
